Double The Platinum

Trophy whores of the PSN, this may be the best $10 you ever spend.  The PS Vita has had its fair share of awesome launch titles, and MotorStorm RC was one of the best value games available for purchase/download.  Your small proverbial chip in the wallet resulted in you owning both the PS3 and PS Vita copy of what is a very addictive and simple but fun game.  If you do manage to put in the (moderately) hard yards and platinum the game, here is your surprise.

The process through which I went was as follows:

1. Platinum MotorStorm RC on Vita (this only takes about a week at the most).

2. Sync trophies.

3. Play MotorStorm RC on PS3 (all trophies will then pop up as if being earned one by one and you have done nothing on the PS3 version).

4. Sync your trophies on the PS3.

If all has gone well, then this will have scored you two of every trophy in MotorStorm RC for the price of one.  I was confused to see my platinums jump up from 7 to 9 as well as a drastic change in my PSN level, until I did the math and had a bit of a fit at how easy they were to get.

While some may consider this cheating, I am pretty sure it is unavoidable regardless, as whenever you play the PS3 version all trophies previously earned will pop up again.

As said before, trophy whores may want to grab some loose change and buy this game to bump up your trophy count and level quite a lot.
