KaKaRoToKS' JB Status On 4.10

Youness Alaoui, better known by his online alias KaKaRoToKS just dropped two tweets regarding the status of his jailbreak project in relation to firmware 4.10. He mentions that packages are still able to be installed to the PS3. However, like firmware 4.00, they cannot be ran.

Work on the project does not stop here as KaKaRoToKS mentions that his team is still working to find an exploit to enable the launching of packages on 4.00 with the caveat being that it may or may not work on 4.10. Regardless of the blockade right now, this is rather good progress made by the team. A headstart is definitely better than none at all.

You kids need to calm down, by now there is several options you can choose to stay Online AND have a jailbroken PS3, It's called writing a F*king resume and handing it out in your local town and getting a Job to help pay the rent, you know the internet bill your parents pay? Then you can pay for your OWN 2nd hand PS3 and mod it all you want. Same method applies if you want a NAND/NOR Flasher.

What is all this bullshit bashing of kakaroto? He has already written exactly what the problem is and why we cant get the PKG files to SIGN. Infact the only reason we have ANY CFW's at all is because SONY FUCKED UP and didn't use random numbers to create private keys.... NOW THEY DO AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CRACK THE ENCRYPTION. Not without some kind of exploit which Kakarot did mention they are trying to find.

Put simply it is more then likely that the PS3 wont be cracked ever again.
