In more development news, aldostools has provided a new update to the PARAM.SFO Editor that's provided with PS3Tools. Those faithfully using the set of tools for PS3 development namely the editor, should find this update useful.
As the name implies, you're able to edit the parameter file that you can find in an array of Sony related files. This is the file that controls a lot of stuff associated with the game such as name, firmware version, game ID, Parental Control level, etc. With the new update, the editor is now able to convert between .SFO files to .SFX format and vice versa, in case you have stumbled across one or the other.
