Team SGK Releases 4.31 v3.2 Update

Joining the updates today is Team SGK with a new release of their "4.31" custom firmware. The new v3.2 update adds file management, among ohter things. Here's what the team had to say:

 

Hi all, What's better than CFW OPERATIONAL!

SGK frees me today hard fruit of my labor. In fact I worked to bring you a CFW 4.31v3.2avec interesting features which are not yet seen the new CFW 4.xx
The basis of this CFW is based on Rogero 4.30. I added him XMBSGK + Package Manager app / home for our greatest pleasure. Some files from firmware 4.31 which ensures compatibility for the latest keysets. So you can play your backups favorites without a patch or fix. 4.31 is a spoof includes access to PSN and avoid unintended updates.

 

Here is the changelog:

  • The data games, save and trophy and finally given it was removed PSVita the xmb and added XMBSGK + or
  • Added app / home package by Rogero
  • Added video file management
  • Adding music file management
  • Added file photo management

 

Installation:

  • QA FLAG enabled

1. Downgrade 4.25 to 3.55
2. Install OFW 3.55
3. Install cfw 4.31v3.2

 

Keep in mind that this is not a true 4.31 custom firmware. It uses Rogero's 4.30 as its base and has the 4.31 keysets included to allow you to launch the latest games and is spoofed to 4.31, to get you onto the PSN. As usual, if you are going to give this custom firmware a shot, it is recommended that you have the tools to restore your working NAND/NOR backup. You can download it from below.

Hello, i've been seeing some videos and stuff and in some of them they say that is possible to downgrade ps3 from OFW 4.xx via USB. My question is .. is that possible?

Can i put the link below for you guys cant test it?

I am on version 3.41 currently. I was on 3.55 and downgraded last year sometime. My question is can I safely upgrade to the latest CFW listed here? I saw some where that if you had once been 3.55 and downgraded then when you upgrade it will be 3.56. I am probably remembering this wrong and hope I can just simply upgrade to the current CFW. I'm also hoping this makes all my backups work.

I don't see how your system could possibly be on 3.56 if you install 3.55
I'm no expert but I don't believe that it should be a problem. And from 3.55 you can safely upgrade to another firmware, I use Rogero 4.30
