SGK Team's Working On A "4.31" Custom Firmware

The influx of custom firmwares keep on coming. This time, a set of French developers who go by the name of the SGK Team has a Work In Progress custom firmware for those willing to give it a try. This "4.31.1" custom firmware is based from Rebug's 4.21 REX firmware meaning that it uses 4.21 as its base firmware. SGK's firmware also has keysets added in from firmware 4.30 as well as a 4.31 spoof, which enables PSN access, hence it's 4.31 designation.

Here is a list of features available in SGK's 431.1 custom firmware:

  • PSN Access
  • Debug menu displayed in setting
  • Rebug package added
  • Implementation of parameters Rex 4.21.1 Rebug cfw
  • Lv1 Lv2 and recompiled.
  • Patched Peek & POKE
  • Coldboot replaced
  • Replaced coldboot game
  • Theme from watch dogs dynamically replaced
  • More corrections ...

Since this is a work in progress, you'll be using this at your own risk. There may be bugs or other incomplete features that may not provide the best experience. However, if you're willing to accept that and take a shot at it, you can find the download link below.

hi friends I was testing on a ps3 cfw 4.31.1 cech2501a fis and when they procure all correct procedure at the end that snapped the cfw 4:31 Brinck my device! I was wondering if someone vai faezr an update from 4.31.1 to correct?

again another cfw that,s useless to anyone who is on ofw higer than 3.55
common devs whe need a cfw for everyone

No sayan you cannot, this release is basically useless to you, or anyone else who happens to be on 3.55+ Ofw and dont have a hardware flasher such as an E3 to downgrade. To be honest till an exploit is found any and all of these "Updates" on the scene are completely useless as none of them focus on the issue at hand. They just add a few features or stability improvements. However their a waste of time to even look up on, your best bet would be to just go buy an E3 or Progskeet as I do not foresee an exploit solution for 3.55+ OFW users anytime in the future. Itll be a while till that happens. Good Luck with all that though. :D

You should update to 3.55 and then go from there.

The headings should read 4.31 cfw on 3.55 for all these new posts so everyone knows right away that this is Only useable for people on that firmware.
