Rogero is on his A game when it comes dropping updates for his custom firmware. With version 2.03, Rogero has re-added the ability to Install Package Files form the XMB. It's useful for those who mistakenly updated to the latest versions of Rogero's custom firmware without first installing a tool that can take care of that. Along with this, Rogero has rebuilt the custom firmware from scratch and fixed issues that were existent in previous versions. Take a look at the changelog:
That's a lengthy changelog indeed. Along with this update, Rogero has disabled LV1 checks which allows for the firmware to be installed on downgraded consoles regardless of whether they have been dehashed. However, he still urges that you take the necessary precautions to ensure the safest upgrade procedure. This includes having a NAND/NOR backup handy, a hardware flasher, having QA Flags set and not having a disc in the drive while updating. As usual, you will need to be on firmware 3.55 or a 3.55/4.21/4.30 custom firmware in order to install this. Otherwise, you will need a hardware flasher to do it.
You can find everything that you need below.

You can only install this from original firmware 3.55 or Custom Firmware 3.55/4.21/4.30. I REPEAT... OFW 3.55 or CFW3.55/CFW4.21/CFW4.30. That means you need to have a Backwards Compatible 3.55- PS3.

Well for your information buddy:
Rogero's 4.30 v2.03 CFW release is spoofed to 4.31 for purposes of accessing the PSN as well as maintaining a relatively clean XMB. In Addition, the traditional method of Installing Package Files was removed and replaced with an alternative. All of this is stated in the readme but of course, everyone loves to do shit first THEN ask questions when it doesn't go the way they expected to go.
You won't dare come on here and say that this site is fake. If everyone who commented above you can ask questions, get the right answers and install this custom firmware right, then why can't you? You won't come and slander the name of this site. If you think you can do a better job, why don't you start your own site up? That's what a lot of guys like to do. Talk shit and not do anything about it.
If you messed up your installation by not following clear cut directions, then it is your problem.
Sony affiliated site... get real.
