Rogero CEX 4.30 CFW v1.04

The Famed PS3 developer Rogero has released yet another update to his 4.30 Custom Firmware. This brings his firmware to version v1.04 with the hopes of providing a more stable CFW. This update also adds support for the new MultiMAN v04.11.11 update that has rolled out today as well as fixing a few minor issues that users have brought up since the last update. For more info on what has been updated this time around have a read of the changelog below.

Rogero CEX 3.40 CFW v1.04 Changelog:

Removed all the Demo Mode nodes from XMB (No more demonstration mode messages).
Added some fixes to the PUP to eliminate many "Data Corrupted" messages from different installation methods.
Updated the PlayStation Home Fix Package to v1.04, Now PS Home Icon will be installed to the TV/Video Category.

it really depens, for me, the pros are that ive been able to play the latest games, but there seem to be a bunch of trophy issues in this one that i never noticed in 3.55. for example i get this trophy registration issue that wont let me play a game. then i have to delete the trophies thus invalidating my saves. its really quite annoying. though this is only for certain games

ive updated to rogero 4.30 and its running fine for me i get to play all newer games with no problem u can get on psn too but i say stay off psn for now sony is doin ban hammer

Oh hell yes!!! trust me,it is worth it!! i have been playing gun game online like crazy for the past week or so and i'm gonna "get" black ops 2 later this week. Just remember to read all the instructions when installing and you will be fine.

I have been on Rogero's 4.30 since it came out. Really don't see any reason to not update. Unless there is some homebrew that hasn't been updated that you absolutely need, I don't see a point. PSN access, no hunting down eboot fixes or messing with game files to patch. Just follow instructions and it should be all good.

I don't even play online !
and I m no longer a real gamer .. I just want to be able to play those new games if I ever want to play them !
Like killing zombies in BlackOps 2 and playing Hockey with NHL 13 !!

Well, I think I will update tomorrow :)
I installed the 3.55 KMEAW CFW when it came out, spoofed to 3.60 when this came out too jsut because I was curious .. but never did anything else since then .. I guess the instruction will be pretty straight forward then will they ?

Can this custom firmwire be installed over 4.11 ofw which is also cech 3001b?

i, i have rogero cex 4.30 v1.00 and i'm trying to update to this one, but it's guiving me error it says that the file is damage, i'm trying to install it from de recovery menu, anyone else having this problem?

Are you on 3.55 official or custom firmware, this is only usable if you're on either of them.

i was on 3.55 kmean and i have updated to rogero 4.30 v1.00, and now i´m trying to update to rogero 4.30 v1.04 from the recovery menu when i select to update from the usb drive the systeam reads the update file and then it says that the file is damaged

- Updating from CFW3.55/4.21/4.30 to the CFW4.30 v1.04 should be done using the following steps :
1- Proper Way ( CFW4.21/4.30 --> CFW3.55 --> CFW4.30 v1.04 )
---- If you are on any CFW newer then 3.55, Downgrade back to Rogero CEX3.55 v3.7 using the guide above.
---- Once on Rogero CEX3.55 v3.7, start the PS3 into Recovery Menu and Install (original) OFW3.55.
( This step may not be needed for all consoles but better do it )
---- Once on (original) OFW3.55, start the PS3 into Recovery Menu again and update into CFW4.30 v1.04.

2- Alternative Way ( CFW4.21/4.30 --> Recovery Menu --> CFW4.30 )
---- You can try updating from CFW4.21/4.30 to CFW4.30 v1.04 from Recovery Mode.
---- If it didn't work, then you'll have to use the first Proper Way ( CFW4.21/4.30 --> CFW3.55 --> CFW4.30 v1.04 )

I finally installed it and I really happy with it

Just 1 question tho .. now PSN works which is awsome, but shouldn't I do something to hide me so my account won't get banned ? or this firmware does it all for me ?
I played Zombie mode on COD black OPs 2 and got disconnected on round 6. I just hope I only got disconnected for real !

how can i install this? im on kmeaw 3.55 i put the file on usb fat 32 when i try to update it cannot find the file

you have to create a folder named ps3 inside this one another called update and inside this one put the file and rename it to PS3UPDAT.PUP it should look like this "PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP" when you have this made start the ps3 into the recovery menu ande update the systeam from store device.

how do you get psn access i downloaded sen enabler for rogero but get error message like 80010017 since upgrading non of my pre installed package files work get error message 800010017
