fuckPsn v0.6 Released, For Real

Developer drizzt has officially released fuckPsn v0.6. Now if you've been using what you believe to be 0.6, you should ask yourself: When did I download this? Because if you downloaded fuckPsn v0.6 before today it is probably not the official version from drizzt. This Windows executable -- by the way, Linux works too, visit the source -- acts as a DNS and SSL Proxy server getting you back on PSN by using your PC as an intermediary. Requests from the PS3 are sent to your PC and certain data is manipulated and forwarded along to PSN. Can Sony detect this hack? Well, perhaps ... version 0.6 does take an extra precautionary step by using an empty console ID. How to use fuckPsn

Install dev_blind.pkg and OpenPS3FTP on your PS3
Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash
Open OpenPS3FTP
Connect via FTP to PS3 (using username root and password openbox)
Go to /dev_blind/data/cert
Rename CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak
Put my CA27.cer as /dev_blind/data/cert/CA27.cer
Set the PS3s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PCs IP address
Reboot your PS3
Start fuckPsn-v0.6.exe
Enjoy PSN

No they can't. Because not all ISP's give out static IP's. If they did that, when your ISP switched IP adresses, if the next person who got that IP address has a PS3 they'd be banned for no reason.

They can only do 1 of two things.

1. Profile ban.

2. Simply refuse a connection to anyone with a zero'd out console ID.

Has anyone tried this with CA24.cer? Im still using Fuckpsn v0.5 with no problems but would like to update to using v0.6 but in v0.5 people keep saying that they used either CA24.cer or CA27.cer and worked either way?

anyone else ever have any problems with f*ckpsn not working? ive been using it for weeks and now when i open it, it just shows the listening on ports stuff and never reacts to my ps3. happened to me once before and eventually it just started working again. i know i have it setup right and i know my ip didnt change. ive made sure the right ports are open, not running skype and its not my firewall or antivirus software. i just cant figure it out.

Hello im testing this new version and i can report that when playing fight night champion us version and using fckpsn 0.6, it does allow you to login to $ony, but when it comes to the EA servers it just hanging with this message.

alias is connectin to the EA Servers...

I left it for 10 minutes now still no sucess, Others having those problems awell?

I can confirm this works. You'll have to install ruby gems but there's a nice tutorial on google. Since this new version only adds consoleID spoofing, you can manually do that with another program.

if on windows press the "windows" and "R" keys at the same then type "CMD" on the box, then type "ipconfig" and make sure your IPv4 Adress is the one you are putting as both your primary and secondary DNS!

Yeah.. i have..
If i set primary dns to my pc's ip and secondary dns to my router's ip ...

Primary : 192.168.1.xxx PC
Secondary : 192.168.1.1 Router

it asks to update...
when i set BOTH Primary and Secondary DNS to my computer IP it gives a DNS error..
ps3 obtain IP : succeed...
internet connection : fails ...

btw.. i have a wired connection on my ps3... my pc is connected to the router by wireless usb adapter.. and sharing by local connection

ON MY PS3 I HAVE :

You need your pc connected to internet, but don't connect your ps3 to the PC, connect it to the internet as you normally would. Then change the DNS on the PS3 to the IP of your computer. I set both numbers to my computer, some may have to set the secondary as 8.8.8.8 or any other legit dns.

Or set up a Virtual machine. Dual booting is a pain in the ass when you have all your important stuff in the other OS.

Or you could just use VMware. Dual booting is a pain in the ass & it would be silly to deal with all the troubles just to use one program. You don't wanna reboot your computer everytime you want to log into PSN do you? Most likely there is something conflicting cause I do have it running, but I would consider VMware you next best option over dual boot.

Are you sure that your computers IP isn't dynamically assigned (DHCP) by your router? If it is, it's most likely changing and that's why your aren't seeing any activity from it.

yes you can use vmware but that wold = minimum og 15-20 gigs to the trash, ram and cpu drain!!!!!! so if you are running on a slow computer i would not recommended but if you got at least 4gb ram and a quad core proccesor it should be just fine!! as i have run it my self with no lagg of pc crash!

well usually the cmd opens and closes because something its causing it to execute wrong, put the fuckpsn on your desktop, i have heard of ppl trying to run it in a compressed file! but i would still go with dual booting sence it eliminates the anti-virus and other programs factors so it would only leave you with a nice clean copy of the OS!

thats the problem, when you choose to set your secondary to your router key word "router" you are missing the step to connect it to your pcs ip, the ps3 should look like this!

Ip Adress : 192.168.0."69" set by me cuz im cool like that!
Default Router : 192.168.0.1 - my shared local connection
Primary DNS : 192.168.1.30 - my pc's IP (Given by the router)
Secondary DNS : 192.168.1.30 -THATS YOUR ERROR!

choose the primary dns or preferred
where it says IPv6 address--- that should be the one u use as primary

thanks 4 the reply. yeah, im sure. when it was working before, i was using googles 8.8.8.8 for my secondary. had to reboot my pc and ever since then its not working. tried changing secondary dns to my pc's dns with no luck. ive seen some tuts say to use pc's ip as primary AND secondary, but when i do that i get dns error 80710102. im kinda at a loss.

It all depends... I assume, if he has Vista/7 64 bit on his machine chances are he has at least 4 gig in his machine, if not more. If he does decide on dualboot and uses Win 7 32 bit then that 15-20 gigs is going down the trash anyways. He could always use Windows XP in his VM too if RAM is of concern and that would also minimize the install to about 4-6 gig disk space. When VMware was in it's infancy I used to run it on an 800mhz celeron on WIN 2000 with 2 gigs of ram and I noticed minimal lag when I was running XP in it. In my experience RAM is the key determining factor in performance of a VM. After a VM starts up and becomes idle it takes most the load off the CPU, unless there is a bunch of junk running in that VM.

A hacked console allows Homebrew which can install .PKG file to games like MW. Ive seen people walking through walls and flying up in the air, commanding a chopper at will, ect. ok so i got it working by setting my ip to auto and maually setting my dns to my ip weird, but whe i go to logi it asked me to accept the terms of service again wtf is up with that! I got the email, so what, if they find me o there with cfw now they will ban me? I've stayed off psn after i got the email whe i used fpsn to dl al my ps stuff. i'm gonna old off on this to see if people who acceptt this new agreement after gettig the eail get banned.

So your point is a general one about Custom firmware. Nothing to do with this software. The fact is that all existing PS3 hardware is now wide open.
Before the keys were released you had cheating anyhow. This changes nothing.
The big advantage is that you don't have to update your firware everytime you play online. You can just stick with 3.55 if you want.

works as magic! just having problems writing the CA27.cer over FTP, after lots of tries with 2 FTP programs, i downloaded the File manager for PS3 copy the .cer file to USB and from there to the /dev_blind/data/cert/. after that rebooted and change the DNS pointing to my PC.

Still having problems here...

IP Adress : 192.168.1.200 (Connected by wireless)
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (my router)
Primary DNS : 192.168.1.30 (My pc IP - connected by wireless -)
Secondary DNS : 192.168.1.30

No internet connection (I have on my pc) and DNS error 80710102
fuckPSN keeps listening on 0.0.0.0 ...

Tried Secondary DNS : 192.168.1.1 (my router)

Have internet connection .. no dns error...
Keeps asking to update to 3.56 ...

started the process over.
* overwork the file cert just to make sure. had already made backup the first time.

to anyone having trouble setting the correct network settings:

Instead of choosing MANUAL on the settings, which would get you the 5 lines to set the numbers:

IP address:
Subnet Mask:
Default router:
Primary DNS:
Secondary DNS:

choose AUTOMATIC on the IP settings, and in the following window choose MANUAL on DNS settings. Set the primary DNS to the LAN IP address of the PC running fuckPSN (192.168.2.XXX) and the secondary DNS to OpenDNS IP (208.67.222.222).

To do this it is advised to connect the PS3 to the router you use but with the Internet/WAN cable plugged off, just in case the PS3 wants to update. Just insert the fuckPSN PC network cable and the PS3 cable.

Black ops banned my emblem creator for no reason, i didn't have no swastika or pornographic images. I had the round snake and simply put wings on it and red eyes. And i got banned.
Its programs like this that make me feel better knowing that people are pirating black ops and cheating playing online, people at black ops can suck everyone's balls.

Ok, this doesn't work. Putting the IP address of OpenDNS just causes the ps3 to skip over the primary DNS(your computer) and just go out to the internet like normal, resulting in Playstation telling you that you need a system software update, because you haven't changed anything.
I have proof to this effect.
Doing your method, I got the software update message, meaning that it was still getting out to the internet.
Once I switched the Secondary DNS to my computer's ip address (now matching the Primary DNS), the ps3 was unable to connect to the internet. Once I forced to PS3 to get its internet through my computer(and thereby fuckPSN), it wasn't getting any internet access.

Did you take out the WAN cable off the router as I said?
The PS3 HAS to be connected to the router (alongside with the fuckPSN PC), in order to establish the correct IP settings, otherwise it won't work.

Also, make sure you are putting the right LAN IP address in Primary DNS. If you don't know it open Command Prompt and type ipconfig /all. The private/LAN IP address is the one under IPV4 address. In my case it is 192.168.2.101, since my pool of private IP addresses on my router vary from 192.168.2.100 to 192.168.2.199

If it still doesn't work try to set the secondary DNS to 0.0.0.0 and try to connect.

Remember that fuckPSN must be already running on the computer before you turn on the PS3.
Also, make sure the Windows firewall isn't blocking fuckPSN.
Better even, try to disabling the firewall just for this procedure.

So many people whine on here about MW2 cheats. They have nothing to do with CFW or homebrew, it is not a requirement for cheats, nor do you ever see any programs which help you cheat posted on here. Why don't you go and moan on the forums which actually host all the MW2 cheats?

I just get banned when i updated this fuckpsn... the 0.4 worked fine by me and now when i updated to 0.6 and everything first looked good, but now when i try to log into psn it says u have been logged out from psn and i cant find ea servers when i try to play medal of honor in multiplayer....and 0.4 did not do the trick... same broblem... oh well... guess i have to live with it :( just saying this update sucks hard!

I have custom firmware on my PS3, and I love custom firmware. I love it because of the home brew and it allows further customization for my system like the custom boot logo and all that.

Hi, I hope someone can help me use this awesome tool so I can get my brother off my back about not being able to go online now that I "hacked" his PS3. Anways I'm running KMEAW 3.55 Firmware, I've installed the new CA27 certificate, keeping all the other certificates as the originals. I set my DNS server to my PC's IP Address (behind NAT router). Also I restart the PS3 and run FuckPSN v0.6.
When the PS3 turns back on, and I try to connect, it gives me 80710A06.
When I test connection, it shows I'm able to connect to my router and also to the internet, but I'm instantly denied from PSN. I've also tried setting secondary DNS to the same one my PC uses, but that failed also :(
Anyone else have this problem?
