A Reason To Upgrade Your PS3

Metal Gear: Revengeance is still in the works, with the game being repeatedly delayed and renamed since its initial announcement. If with all the constant problems you are being deterred from buying this game, perhaps this console design will change your mind.

While this isn't really one of the best reasons to upgrade your PS3, the visual aspect is more than attractive. Metal Gear: Revengeance has received a design for their own custom made PS3 "Super Slim" console. The image used for this articles header is the console in question, which is unfortunately only going to be released in Japan.

Considering I want a PS3 on 3.55 and 4.30 CFW, as well as an OFW PS3, I think this may be an imported upgrade for me. I can't get over the design, and will definitely be trying to get this in for myself. What is your opinion on the design?

Yeah it looks good. I was thinking of getting myself after my YLOD of my phatPS3 . It was a sad day for me. Good thing I still have my PS3slim but its on 4.30 OFW so I have to wait till a CFW comes for 4.30 with out down grade or flashers. Im not screwing this one up. So if a new CFW comes to light. I Hack my Slim and then Ill buy that Super Slim just to have a spare.

After much thinking, I have sold my old Playstation / Fat with 650 GB. Of course I had the software 3.55. This made it possible for me to play just about anything I interesierte. The problem was this. convert after I have not played any game more to end. I have collected more than games played.
Because I wanted to play online again, I decided the old PSX 3 / 3:55 for sale for 240 €. After 2 days of the console for the price it was sold.
After that I bought for 242 € a new PSX Ultra Slim 500 GB + 2 new games.
I regret nothing, because now I have the motivation to me to buy these new games to play online. Now I play to games through to the end.

yes you're right Tiger. But I like the new design. . The console is now quieter and does not overheat so quickly. Thus, I hope that they will now work longer. So for me, there are good reasons to buy this console.

I for one think the new design is a step backwards, yea

- less moving parts (cheaper)
- sliding top looks cheaply made to hell
- id friggen hope it run alot cooler as theyve had HOW many years to better the design, patch up memory leaks in there OS....
