When talking about a video game that has taken the world by storm over the past month or so, Ni No Kuni is probably it. It's been a while since we've seen a solid JRPG hit store shelves, and according to the critics this just might be one of the very best games in that genre that you will ever possibly play. So what makes it a great Valentine's day pick? For the more hardcore gamer, obviously the ratings should be enough, but if that's not your style the animations in this one are just darn beautiful. In a sense, it will look a lot like you're playing an anime game. For the most part, any girl is going to find a visual palette like this crazy adorable.

If that's not enough, maybe you should take a peek at the story too. You play through Ni No Kuni as a boy named Oliver who is on a quest to become a master magician. The most emotional part is, he is doing all of this to find a way to bring back his beloved dead mother. That alone will tell you this is a game that tugs at the heart strings and knows how to play well which should score you some points with your girl. If the love of your life isn't into games, it's also a thrill to watch as well.
