In light of our new found relationship with mygamingmart.com we're going to give away one of these bad boys:

It's been tested; I can personally confirm PS3 Break works. The device is upgradable too, which means whenever an update happens you can make use of it. For example, lets say the ability to hack an earlier firmware version, or dare I say a later version is made possible. Well if the hack stems from the same USB trickery then you could update this stick to do just that. Anyway, one lucky reader is going to get that same PS3 Break pictured above, courtesy of mygamingmart.com. Now I understand our demographic is mostly male, so to all the guys out there wanting to hack their PS3, you better hope you know some hotties too. I'm talking Ice-T's Coco hot. $60CDN is reasonable considering the phone unlock takes substantial amount of time to learn&apply. This one just plug and play, but the official faq page gave wrong info isn't? It said "it won't permanently modify the console". I think this will affect PSN login later on because using this usb dongle will create a log history isn't it?

I'm also on 3.15 and I don't want to upgrade... if I win this device, I promise I will devote some time to make it work on 3.15. There isn't much that I can do right now since this is mostly trials and errors.

BTW... when I say "I will devote some time", it means that I know someone that will devote that time in exchange of .. ;)

Why don't we set something up so who ever wins the device jail breaks their PS3. Then send it's to another person so they can jail break. Everybody keeps sending it to other people. This way those of use who can't order one or get one can have the luxury of jailbreak.

I did something similar with my psp. There was a guy that was making pandora batteries and memory sticks for free. All you had to do was send him your stuff and pay for shipping both ways.

This was when pandora first came out and wasn't so readily available. Thanks to that person i was able to hack my psp.

Now who agrees with me so we can set something up.

so i take it you can't mod the ps3 and remove the usb device after modding it ,unmodded when usb is not inserted ? or are there files on the ps3 harddrive (not backups) that can be detected by sony when the usb is not in use.

The PS3 remains unmodded after turning it off and back on again. Then you must rehack it upon start up every time you want to play your legally backed up games from internal HD or external HD.

Files are left behind on the root yes but Sony won't see them because your not going to be able to go online with it and if you do you would have to update rendering the PS3 un-hackable.
