Developer squarepusher2 with another emu... hey that rhymed. Anyway, this time it's the multi-arcade emulator -- FinalBurn Alpha (FBANext PS3) -- that is capable of emulating the Capcom CPS-1, CPS-2 and CPS-3, SNK Neo-Geo, Toaplan, Cave, Taito F2/F3, Sega System 16/18, and some others, but you knew that. What you should know is the v3 (R423) change log, which follows... And you're gonna dig it. FBANext PS3 Custom Build v3

Big reduction in lag - also a far more stable FPS as a result of this (due to elimination of virtual function call overhead when a class would inherit from a base class with virtual functions). You will notice the biggest improvements with fighting games for CPS2/CPS3 - but overall all games should benefit from this.
A new shader: tv-highcontrast-HD. This basically mimics the look of a high-end CRT monitor. Set 'Hardware Filter' to Linear and select a resolution lower than or equal to 1440x1080 to get the best results (if you have triple buffering on - else it's 960x1080 or lower for best results)
Fixed: A hang/freeze would occur after selecting a shader and then changing the resolution.
Fixed: You can now go back and forward in the list when selecting a shader - press Left to go back one entry in the shader list, and press Right to go forward.

this is crap. you guys are working on shit, get your head on straight man, you guys are doing nothing, NOTHING, twords the overall cause... i have already restored the otherOS option in its orignal intirity to the PS3, installed ubuntu 10.4, AND hombrew that works on OFW... and yet, not a single man in the world other them my self seams to be able or compelled, or in a position to do these things, cause you guys are releaseing emu's 10 times over.. realy shitty ones at that... man ive been in the game makeing homebrew on ps3 way befor geohot even came along, hell a week in on its release i was makeing OFW hombrew that still works on 3.56! so come on you guys, step your game up. and hell, i would of shared my info but you dicks wont let me inlist.. ill swicth to ps3 hax.

i was wonderin if with all this custum stuff that have been releasing would it be posible to creato some sort of tool or plugin that allow the PS3 to use 360 wired controllers?.
why? well it would be nice to use the same control in 360, PC and PS3. i think it would be great cuz fighting tournament sticks arent cheap at all

try going to you ps3 file under /hdd0/game/fbaN(some#'s)/usrdir/roms/ than copy ur roms in there through a file manager or FTP, thanks @iveeh

guys,got a problem with metal slug roms
I got the neogeo bios but it says the sfix.sfix is missing
there was a sfix.sfx (without the "i") there so I renamed it but it doesn't work..
how can I make them work?
