TN-C eCFW Released, Total Noob Says Goodbye

Submitted by Christopher Groux; November 20, 2012

First, let's talk about the good news. With a new version of eCFW upon us comes whole mess of bug fixes and added compatibility. Most notably, TN-C offers support for more game exploits including some of the older favorites like Motorstorm and Super Collapse. Essentially should you have missed the boat on some of the more recent happenings, now you don't have to be stuck on VHBL should you not want to be. Additionally, you'll be able to change button assignments, and customize how you exit the CFW.  Another great feature is you will also be able to increase the clock speed beyond the 333MhZ of the PSP. Lastly crashes for Talkman, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur, DJ Max Portable 3, and many other games have been addressed.

Now for the bad news. In order to keep their priorities straightened out, Total Noob has decided to leave the scene. Because friends, family, and school are most important to the developer, he has left TN-C open source for another lucky soul to take on and improve. With this final release we thank TN for their dedication to our scene and for bringing us something we never expected. Your contribution has helped us greatly. If you would like to donate to the Total Noob PayPal, head over here. It has been a good run Noob. We will all miss you!

It's so sad to see such a strong developer go, but you can bet someone else is going to be willing to pick it up. Now we just gotta hope for kernel access in 2.0.
