PlayStation Plus Comes To The Vita Next Week Too

After two months of waiting, Sony will be rolling out PlayStation Plus to the Vita. For those new to PlayStation Plus, it is a subscription service that provides additional perks such as free and discounted items in the PlayStation Store, cloud storage for your savedata as well as automatic firmware updates, game updates and trophy syncing. Like the PS3, an Instant Game Collection will be available to subscribers which include 6 games to start off. These games will be rotated at regular intervals. Those who already have a subscription to the service on the PS3, will automatically have the goodies transfer over to the Vita for the remainder of their subscription.

For those without a subscription, the pricing for PlayStation Plus will remain the same as it is for the PS3: $17.99 for a three month plan and $49.99 for a year plan. PlayStation Plus will be available on November 19th.
