A while back I wrote an article on how to go about a custom coldboot for the PS3 console using Photoshop and some general PS3/PC know how. Today, I have an even easier tutorial for anyone who knows the basics on Photoshop, that you can use to exploit a nice little feature that the Vita has over the PS3.
With Vita wallpapers, instead of completely replacing the "wave" you usually see, it is basically layered over the top of that. With the video tutorial below, you can take any picture you want (recommended bigger than 960x544) and make the object of that image the standout in your background, while still seeing the waves behind that.
Not a hack of any sort, just a cool feature that I was surprised so few people knew about.
Hope this video helps out anyone who wants to make their Vita that little bit more unique, and feel free to drop a comment with any questions!
