Epix Comming to The Vita in Spring

First off let me explain what exactly Epix is. Epix is a new channel that was brought about by three big movie studios (Paramount , Lionsgate, and MGM) getting together and pooling all of their movies and other programing into a new channel.  But it’s not your normal TV channel. Bring the best of both worlds from cable TV and from online services like Netflix.  Epix will launch as both a TV station and as an online VOD service.

So why would anyone with a PlayStation Vita care? Well come spring an Epix app will be launching for the PlayStation Vita to put all of those movies in your hands.  If you can't sit and wait that long and you have a PS3 then you will only have to wait until March before the app launches for the PS3.

So there you have it.  A little competition for Netflix.  What do you think of Epix? Will you be taking advantage of this service?
