Beware The Attack of the Clones

From behind the great wall of China comes the first Vita clone... the YINLIPS. At this point I bet you're wondering what can it do? well not much of anything, well that your phone can't do I guess.
Basically its a smart phone with out the phone. They are calling it an "Android Smart Game Player". this look alike is powered by the Gingerbread/FroYo OS (even their website doesn't know) and comes packed with old school emulators like NES, SNES, and what ever else you an imagine. It apparently has an HDMI port single core 1.2GHz processor and 512MB of DDR2 Ram and WiFi. So why would any one want this? They don't plain and simple.

i heard about this one a few months before Vita was released.. aparently the "analog" stick it does have isnt even analog at all ;) it just sends a digital signal to games
tho aparently the emulators are ok ive also heard they are rather old releases and hard to update to new ones.. mind you all this info was from a youtube vid and the guy using it probably didnt know what he was doing

Its not even remotely comparable to a real Vita lol. Not on a gaming NOR hardware level.
Also what is with the gameplay on the boxart? this thing isnt capable of playing games of that detail...its pretty much just for old roms and stuff =/. Someone buying this thing would see the art on the box and think its capable of playing games with great graphics....but it cant =/. Totally false advertising!

They recently upgraded this and now it has Android 2.3 Gingerbread, A10 1.2 Ghz processor, 5" touch screen, multi-touch support, front and rear-facing cameras and a slew of other updates I won't bother mentioning. Also people have rooted it and now there are ways of updating (or replacing altogether) the emulators on the YINLIPS suddenly making it tons more attractive in my eyes. Also it's running Android so you got the entire market and all of its apps availale to play on this thing. Personally I can't wait to buy it. Too bad I'm broke.

Actually it can play high end Android games like N.O.V.A. and Shadowgun pretty good so the box art isn't far from the truth.
