PSDev Works The Vita Too: Vita Magic Reader Update Released

PSDev jumps to the next console and gets to working on the PS Vita. He revisits an old tool that he released a while back dubbed the Vita Magic Reader. He's back with a small update for anyone who's interested in taking a look.

The Vita Magic Reader is a tool that was originally a test script coded by PSDev, for computers running Linux. The script is able to pull some things out of a Vita PUP. The update adds support for extraction of the whole Vita header of the PUP. Here's a full list of things that can be extracted using the script:

• Magic(SCEUF)
• PUP Version
• License
• Package Version
• Image Version
• File Count
• Header length
• Package length
• A Unknown bit of values 0x50 in length
• FileTable
• HashTable

PSDev is looking to add a FileTable extractor in the future.
