OpenCMA is recommended if you want to ensure that you are able to run the Vita Half Byte Loader when released. OpenCMA negates the need for an internet connection to use, therefore eliminating the possibility of Sony being able to sneak any silent updates off to your Vita or the Content Manager Application itself. If you are looking to use VHBL on firmware 1.80, then you will need either of the two recently versions of OpenCMA. If you don't currently have OpenCMA installed, you can grab it from below. If you do, then you only have to update the 'psp2-updatelist.xml' file with the one from your corresponding region. You can find both below.
