We've been counting down the days here at -Hacks, waiting to see whether PS1 classics or Skype will come to the PS Vita first. Today, this question is answered.
@PlayStationEU on Twitter has just tweeted (or twat? You decide) that the Skype app for the PS Vita will be available for free download tomorrow on both 3G and Wi-Fi only models.
Now while the kid above with the cheeky grin is displayed in damn good quality (that sounded slightly creepy) I highly doubt that this will be the quality of a real video call. The video below basically showcases the application and its features which you yourself will be able to dabble with tomorrow when the app finally hits the PS Store.
Expect a review and run down of the app from myself on my YouTube channel which will hopefully be posted up tomorrow. For now, hit up the video and go play your Vita to make tomorrow come faster!

Does video or text Skype work on the Sony Tablet S or PSP 3000 yet? I know you can make calls though via Skype but text is used more for chatting by my friends. ???

it would have been nice if they gave us a way to sort online contacts, like put users online at the TOP, my video does NOT work (maybe my router) and sadly no text option
Anonymous : not even an option for video call on my PSP2001 with cam PSP450 attached

Great news! I'm not a big fan of social networking websites, tey are too addictive and I waste too much time there, so now I only use Skype to connect with people. Thus, it would be great if Skype was accessible from any gadget I own.
