Video Proof: PSP ISO Running On The PS Vita

Today on his site Wololo let us all in on the big news.  There is currently a method of loading PSP ISO’s on your Vita. Ok just let that sink in for a second… is everyone good? Good, moving on. There have been some reports from myself and a long list of other writers both on this site and abroad who have been chronicling the advancements of homebrew on the PS Vita.  You may remember a few months ago we told you about an anonyms developer who had a method of loading PSOne games on the Vita before Sony did.

 

You may also remember that there were also reports about Davee having a kernel access exploit for the Vita too.  Since then not much else happened outside of VHBL releases for a while, or so it seemed. In reality there was a lot of work going on behind the scenes and now we are starting to the results of that work.

Now before everyone gets up in arms and claims this video is a fake I should just go ahead and remind you that Wololo himself has already confirmed the video is real.  Now all we are waiting for is when will we be able to use it?

Erhmahgherd! You mean I won't have to pay another 15-20 bucks for every psp game I own to be on the vita? woohoo!

Just letting you all know, there is someone on the PS3 USA Forums by the name of MacMillerFan123 that is posting about how the VHBL is tied to the newest PSP game for it and how it needs to be pulled. Flood him much?

Soon I'll have a way to play Crisis Core and Birth By Sleep on my Vita. Played the crap out of those games, but they're really fun (and there's plenty of stuff I never did in them).
