New PS VIta VF eCFW ARK Comming Soon?

Developer Virtuous Flame has been hard at work on his new eCFW for the PS Vita that’s going by the name of “VF eCFW ARK.” According to the developer this custom firmware is running on a new kernel exploit that allows it to run within the Vita’s PSP emulator and will work with the latest official firmware 2.02. One of the advantages to this eCFW is that it will allow you to boot directly into the ISO menu without the hassle of loading the save data (more than likely a product of the new exploit) another plus is that the compatibility with games and homebrew seem to be on par with what we have seen from TN-C… if not better.

 

   

As for a release date for this eCFW unfortunately we will just have to wait and see what happens because nothing has been set in stone yet especially with Frostegater’s upcoming exploit release.

Lol! Get one! I have a Vita and I never get bored. The HD screen and super-fast hardware will be great for emulators and homebrew!

I hope a new hacking tool will come out soon. Loading the ISO menu without needing the game would save some moolah and make many people happy. I would appreciate it if this would happen. Thanks for the news!

So that you can play them again if your PSP's thumb stick just flat out doesn't work anymore. And the analog sticks are better anyway.
