VHBL Update: No New VHBL in Sight

Wololo is still working through some issues with VHBL but right now a release date for the next version is up in the air and here is why.
Wololo has made a post on his site about the current state of his VHBL project and he confirms details that the version that he has ready is not available in the US (we brought you this before anyone else did) and despite it being ready it will not be released at this point due to its potential as a kernel exploit and at the request of the original discoverer of the exploit.
Wololo also mentioned that he has been working on two other exploits that he belived could be ported to VHBL but has been experiencing some difficulty with it and has spent around 30 hours trying to get it to work. Now thats not to say the entire experience has been fruitless as he has made some progress with it. He is able to get simple homebrew to run but as of right now there is still no release date in sight for a new VHBL release. But rest assured because you know we will keep you posted as news develops.

we will all try to be patient, i, myself, do appreciate all the work you all go through, even thoe i do have the SC3 exploit i bought the vita for gameing, (and the cool factor) but truth be told if they MAKE me update i prolly will, SC3 isnt such a bad game.
homebrew is neat, but with the SDK we should all be creating our own stuff like alarmclocks, and weather apps,a calculator, note pad, voice notes, or a dayplanner calander app with reminder beeps, but the thing i miss the most is my SHOUTCAST radio. DI.FM. zynga poker would be cool,

Can there be a hack just like Nintendo DS where you can dump the game and put it in a "PS Vita" modded cartridge with a mirco SD card inserted? For some reason, I've though of that since I just got the PS Vita and figure different methods. This can be a creative use.

I agree. Thank you for all your hard work on everything so far. You probably don't get as much appreciation as you deserve, as people don't understand that it takes time to develop these things. If they want it faster, they can go code it eh?

How about you stop being a leech and try and code something urself? Do you have any idea just how damn hard it is to make Custom Firmware? let alone finding a kernel level exploit to use it on?
By the sounds of your post you are just one of those asses who wants CFW just so you can ripoff games and downloaded them from the net. The only reason to ever have CFW is to use homebrew...VHBL allows the use of homebrew. Seeing how you care only for getting ur dirty little hands on CFW is so you can get free games...i bet you never used homebrew in ur life.
Now please go away and stop demanding shit from the scene, if you cant code urself you have no right to deman anything!

retard....., while i agree cfw is better than VHBL, VHBL is the first step, just like most hacked consoles, besides that, you shouldnt download illegal games, only backup cartridges which YOU OWN, and play pokemon on non nintendo consoles =)
