Great news for the PS Vita scene comes to light today. PS Vita developer wth (aka Yosh) has managed to dump the flash of the PS Vita's PSP emulator. Would these files, if released, benefit the end user?
No, never! But what it does mean is wth has a kernel exploit and the last time I read of an kernel exploit was when a anonymous hacker released a video showcasing PS1 games running natively on the PS Vita.
Here are 161 167 & 169 (1690 == 1691) pspemu flashes, with PSPCipher (by VirtuousFlame) updated for pspemu (same keys on each fw) and the pspemu flash dump code.
special thanks to VirtuousFlame & Zer01ne for dumping their respective 161 / 169 flash.
this is meant for developers only. (Tony's flash was a bit mixed up, but thanks to him too)
The files in question where removed from the source for legal reasons. Lets hope wth can deliver some juicy hacks for the PS Vita.
