More News on a VHBL Release

Well Sony has updated the PS Vita firmware again and still no PSX support, and no new VHBL. But fear not, the future looks bright.

A little while ago we posted about an unknown developer who has managed to implement his own version of POPSloader on the vita through VHBL despite Sony's in ability to support PSX titles on the handheld. If you do you may also remember that he hinted at a possible release of a new VHBL port that its release was shrouded in mystery and may not even happen.  Well, on his blog developer Wololo hinted at a possible release of a new version of VHBL (that he has confirmed still works after updating his firmware to 1.69) after the big firmware update that will give us YouTube and he believes should finally bring us PSX support. How cool would that be?  A new version of VHBL and PSX support? It would be like Christmas in June. shame on sony for being so dumb I mean the psv has so much it can do like play ps2 games  it has the power to do so. and play ps3 games since they dont have the UMD limitation anymore. sony has a good device. and if they keep nitpicking at all the little HBL loaders.  which are letting people play home brew and play snes.   why should they care.   I would love to play kingdom hearts 2 on my psv the problem is will sony ever do it?  or will it be left to gifted devs out there to let you do it.  psx is cool to I would love to play ff7 that i payed for with my psp that I sold for the Vita but can't play it becuse the the psv will not play psx and the only one to blame for that is sony. shame on you shame
