Frostegater isn't the only developer who is making it happen for the Vita. TheZ is showing what he can do for the handheld running firmware 2.00. In a recently uploaded video, TheZ shows his Vita not only running VHBL but running several homebrew applications as well. Alongside Frostegater's work, this is a great breakthrough as this gives users twice the chances for getting homebrew to run on their Vita. On top of that, with a new firmware update on the way, either developer may go forward with release. According to Wololo, both developers have mentioned that a release can occur by the end of the month, if not next month.
While you're waiting for either of the three to occur, you can check out TheZ's demonstration video of his VHBL port below. For those on firmware 2.00, you want to stay put there for now. For those who like to have the latest firmware, you too remain on firmware 2.00, and then wait for the "All Clear" report to come back from these developers.

If you join the Wololo forums, you can get in on just that. They are dubbed "Ninja Releases" which gives you an opportunity to get the game beforehand. ;D
