PS Vita Firmware v1.69.1 Released - It Does Something This Time

Yes that is a .1 that you see after the 1.69. Alongside the PS3 4.21 firmware update that was released yesterday, Sony has also released 1.69.1 for the PS Vita.
Like it's PS3 counterpart, firmware 1.69.1 "improves stability" and fixes problems with the Escape Plan demo. Users have reported that this also fixes the unresponsive screen bug. This should be an optional update being that this is a fix for a game and not one that adds a feature or two. If you update, let us know if it is indeed or a mandatory one.
You can grab the updated firmware from Network Update, your PS3 or your PC. Make note that the Vita may still refer to the update as 1.69.

Downloading the update right now as i was wanting to play the Escape Plan demo that didnt work =/

Just checked, I'm on 1.67 and still got PSN and PS Store access.

Hmm when I go to try and update it claims I have the latest version... I'mma try and provoke it by getting that demo mentioned above....

Okay so I search for Escape Plan and I only get the $15 full version of the game, which in its description says "Download the demo today!" with no way to do that....
