The inevitable has happened and Sony have released their 2.05 official firmware for the PS Vita. With the new firmware now being a compulsory update in regards to updating trophies and playing online, what else has been done to the insides of this fearsome firmware?
The most bleeding obvious change is this: the UNO exploit is no longer effective on the PS Vita. Attempting to load the save file will greet you with a screen telling you the save data is corrupt. An unfortunate change, but I'm sure a lot of us have faith that there will be a newer exploit in the coming weeks or months.
The feature advertised by Sony only sports "stability improvements, so don't expect any new awesome features to go with this. Just a nice downloadable "fuck you" to the people working on hacking the suave black handheld.
Nothing else to report really, but if you want to stay exploited then don't update. UNO or no UNO, that is the question.
