Power on, Light it up

Submitted by tbag; March 10, 2012

From the creator of the LED Trigger Mod comes a new hardware mod, this is also a bright idea to give your PS Vita a little flair. For more info on what exactly he did and the tutorial read below.

A few dedicated hardware modder's out there are producing hardware mods, one of which is thecoo1st over at PSVITA-MOD  and his skill with a soldering iron has helped to push forward the mod scene that is still in its fledgling state. What he's done in this mod is made a custom set of power and volume buttons for his Vita and wired them with LED's. Again and as always remember doing hardware mods takes lots of patience and skill with a soldering iron so before you take your Vita apart ask your self if you can do this? Because its not for the faint of heart.

By the time you are done adding all these lights, it will look like a car from Pimp my Ride LOL. You will turn it on and the battery will drain in seconds haha. But it will look cool, look like something Clark Griswald would do LOL.
