Two Birds One Beta: OI CMA

Submitted by tbag; March 18, 2012

Heres a little background info for you, Remember the Dev Dridri and his Open Idea iso loader for the PSP last year? Well he's back with somthing new. Dridri is currently Beta testing a tool that hopes to replace Sony's CMA client on your PC, Open Idea CMA. Thel is bass on the work of the Dev Yifan and will allow yuto transfer files to and from the Vita with out having to be conected to the internet.  Yes I know this exists Via Vituous Flames Open CMA the diffrence between the two is that OI CMA is open source allowing anyone to add to the tool to make it better.

Right now the tool is only available for linux as its only in the Beta phase right now.  The good news for this is linux users will not have to wait for Sony to make a Linux driver for the Vita. For those of you not on Linux a Windows and Mac version will be on the way eventualy but untill then you may be intrested to know that the Linux OS Ubuntu is available online for free from their website and will run on a USB stick.  I run it like this on my Net Book and its like a dream, fast easy to use so do not be afraid of Linux. Fair warning for all you pirates out there OI CMA will not allow you to pirate games in anyway so don't even ask.

If you want to know more about the Beta test or sign up for it you can check here and contact Dridri if your lucky he'll hook you up.

No, you can't.  It's basically a replacement for CMA (Content Manager Assistant) which means you can put pr0n on your Vita without telling Sony about it.  This is not a homebrew or an ISO loader.  Read the last sentance of paragraph 2: "Fair warning for all you pirates out there OI CMA will not allow you to pirate games in anyway so don't even ask."

Nope, this just allows you to put pr0n on your PSVita without telling Sony about it.  It's not an ISO Loader... it's not even a homebrew, it's desktop software.
