The Dead Man and the Lawyer - Kinect Motion Capture Experiment

Submitted by Jared; April 05, 2011

This great piece of work was brought to us by the team of Nick Fox-Gieg, Celest Den and Jennifer Tsuei. The video is essentially a teaser clip of a possible short film that was made using Kinect and several other pieces of software such as OSCeleton, ProXML and depending on your OS, BrekelKinect for Windows or Processing with Max/MSP/Jitter for Mac OS X. A great tutorial on how to get started on your very own MoCap Kinect project has been written up on Nick Fox-Gieg's personal site and I highly recommend checking it out. It's a great learning experience for those that are interested in trying their hand at this new age form of motion capture. I'm feeling inspired enough to try it out myself! With everything being open source, what's stopping us right? Enjoy the video! Source: YouTube - ?The Dead Man and the Lawyer?
