In App Purchase? Not For This Russian Hacker

Since the arrival of in-app purchases, many people have fallen victim to this, without realising that they are spending actual money. Mainly children on their parents phone may I add. Well one Russian hacker has managed to crack this to provide himself with free stuff.

The Russian hacker by the name ZonD80 has managed to crack whatever code enables you to purchase added content in game. And the best / worst thing is....you DON'T have to be jailbroken to do it. So this will probably have Apple and a few developers sweating a bit. (Also is the ability to upgrade to full versions of apps).

As you all know, Dashhacks, does not condone piracy in any way. So I will not be posting any direct links to the site or how to get the free stuff. I will tell you however that it's very simple to do. It involves installing 2 certificates / and changing the devices DNS record in the WiFi section. That simple!

He does go as far as to ask for donations to keep the 'project' alive. But, it's pure piracy. And I do not recommend it to anyone. Support developers, or just don't purchase in app content.

I might just try it and see what all the fuss is about.
