Unlock iPhone 4 & 3g[s] on ios 5.1

Right after the release of ios 5.1, the dev team updated the well known tool redsn0w so that all devices capable of ios 5.1 were able to obtain a tethered jailbreak. Sn0wBreeze was also updated so that unlockers can upgrade their device using a CFW and still obtain their unlock status. Beware, the following is NOT the official ultrasn0w package, it is merely a fix created so that an unlock IS possible. Saying that, it may NOT work on all devices. If you are unsure, wait until the official ultrasn0w repo has been updated for 5.1 :
ultrasn0w fixer is by a developer named zmaster and does what the title says. It fixes ultrasn0w so you can unlock your iphone 4 or 3g[s] on the following basebands 01.59.00, 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.13.01, 05.12.01, 06.15.00.(there are no NEW baseband unlocks. so check
It's not a public release yet, so if you are still unsure then do not use it.
To find it : go into cydia then press manage > sources > edit > add > http://repo.iparelhos.com Then search for ultrasn0w fixer for 5.1 Install that then search for and install ultrasn0w http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com
That should be it. You should now be unlocked. If not try a reboot and see if that does the trick. If you still have nothing...it didn't work.

i have 3g model MB489B bootloader 06.04 (g2m3s2) and baseband ICE2-06.15.00 Os version 4.1 please i downgrade baseband i have problem for singal. :(

Sadly since it's the 06.15.00 baseband you CANNOT downgrade the baseband. You will have to upgrade to 4.2.1 and use SAM and SAMprefs toactivate an unofficial simCard. Join use in the forums if your really having trouble. More people, therefore more help.

I have a 3gs model with old bootrom, with a 6.15.00 baseband, running 5.1 and it worked just fine. Thanks a lot

hi, i have 3gs BB 6.15.00 and its 5.1.1 everything i have read follow.
and i've been doing this for many years of unlock iphone.. so,
after the release of 5.1.1 i upgrade my 3gs, the, " Ultrasn0w 1.2.7 " release and now my phone still now " LOCK " :(
please help.
here is my phone specs.
3gs, BB 6.15.00, iOS 5.1.1 - " no service "
and serial number : 82021KDD3NP
