iPhone 4S Gets A Mod For Wireless Charging

Everyone with any kind of gadget knows that they have to do some accessorizing to make it stand out from the crowd. If you have an iPhone, you know that's definitely the case. You have jailbreaking which opens the possibility of custom themes. Take it a bit further and you'll have to get down and dirty. That's exactly what one user has done.

Tanveer Islam has managed to successfully modify his iPhone 4S to do wireless charging. Sure there are solutions already available to accomplish that. Islam has done it with a twist. The process involves taking apart a PowerMat and soldering it to the motherboard of the iPhone. When all is said and done, only 1MM of thickness will be added to the iPhone. If everything is done right, you'll have yourself a wireless charging iPhone.
