October 4th Media Event to Be Held at Apple's Headquarters

Submitted by Dan; September 28, 2011

AllThingsD reports that Apple's iPhone media event scheduled for October 4th will be held at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, California rather than the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco,
Sources close to the company say the demonstration — currently scheduled for Tuesday October 4, a date first reported by AllThingsD — will be held at Apples campus in Cupertino, California.
Possible reason why Apple has chosen to host the event at their HQ might because it may be a better setting for Tim Cook to announce his first product as CEO. It may also be easier for Steve Jobs to make an appearance. Apple first announced the iPod back in 2001 in their HQ in Cupertino, perhaps Apple wants to do the same for the iPhone 5. - source: AllThingsD
