iPhone 5 Is 'Pretty Much' Complete.

Submitted by Kevmau5; August 21, 2012

Last week we were presented with some new parts for the iPhone 5. This week however we have a fully assembled front glass and LCD and a half baked Back casing.

All we really need is for all these guys to meet up and put all the pieces in place. We've seen all the iPhone parts that there are to be seen. But only now are those parts finding themselves built alongside others.

Below is pictures of: Front Glass and LCD screen; Back casing with dock connector in place AND a picture of the dock connector and headphone jack ribbon.

We have seen the front glass many times in the past but only now is the LCD screen shown along with it. This is the first glimpse of the next gen LCD. There's not much 'new' about them with exception of being elongated. Still, quite interesting none the less.

The smaller dock connector fits just nicely in there. I'm not sure if we have the ribbon for the headphone jack in there as well or it's my mind playing tricks. Looking at this, it seems like the battery will be placed on the left hand side of the phone with the logic on the right (much like an iPhone 4 if you opened from the front > back)

Lastly we have the dock connector / headphone ribbon.....

Nothing exciting really. Just more pictures to get you moist before it's released in another 18 or so, days
