Another From The Rumor Mill: iPhone 5S & 6 To Drop In 2013

2012 was the year of the iPhone 5. With rumor after rumor stating that Apple is already working to get the iPhone 5S out this year, as well as the iPhone 6, this may just be the year for both. You can add another rumor to the collection of those. Chinese site Laoyaoba posts that Apple will release both phones at some point in 2013. That's if it holds out to be true. To make the rumor more juicy, they say that both models have paid a visit to Apple's suppliers. On top of that, they go on to say that the iPhone 5S will be similar to the iPhone 5 (no surprise there) and that the iPhone 6 will get a 5" screen and be lighter than its predecessors.

 

With an increasing amount of rumors starting to point out the same thing, this could wind up moving to the confirmed side of things in due time. Until then, we all have to see what becomes of everything.

I would bet money on this. With so many other people pushing out Android phones, Apple as one company needs to keep up. The only way to do that is keep hardware revisions coming early and often. It may make some people mad, but eventually they'll probably adjust.
