These Apps Will Look the Best on Your New iPhone

For owners of the iPhone 5, there are few things more impressive than that gorgeous new 4-inch screen. At that size, the retina display has never looked more beautiful, but the unfortunate reality is a lot of the apps you're going to be using at this very moment aren't updated to accommodate for the extra space. If you're looking to brag about your new tech though, here are the apps best suited to show off that extra real estate.

 

While app makers are moving furiously to catch up to the newly-designed hardware, many of your favorites could be held off this list, but the good news is that a lot of the single most essential utilities are more than up to the challenge to make the most out of your new iPhone. For starters, you can expect the major social networks to be among this list. This includes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Therefore, all of you tweet, photo, and status junkies should be pleased to know you'll be doing so in the most clear and effective way possible.

 

Some surprising additions to this list include Google's own Chrome browser as well as the popular game title known as Temple Run. Chrome specifically comes as quite a shock considering both YouTube and Maps were removed as default additions from the iOS suite of apps. Still, the search engine giant must have been keen to see their own work replace the prominent Safari browser as quickly as possible. Given the extra space, it should also be noted that the apps on this list will also look their best on the upcoming iPod Touch as well which features the same screen. Enough said.
