How long have you wanted an alternative browser for your iDevice? Opera, for me, was the only other great browser, but it wasn't especially suitable. Google has finally stepped up to the mark.
Today we see the release of Google Chrome for your iOS device. Now users have an alternative browser to the standard iOS Safari. It was released today at the Google I/O developers conference. Google Chrome has been developed especially to work with the iPhone AND the iPad which is extremely good news to many users. Additionally, Google Chrome users may be able to sync their bookmarks / favorites and much more from their desktop with their iDevice.
With the release of the new browser comes Google Drive! Many of you already know but just in case you weren't aware, Google Drive is an online storage space, much the same as Dropbox. Each account gets up to 5GB free storage space which isn't too bad. An in-app purchase for more space, when needed, is also available for users who have the need for more storage capacity.
Have any of you been waiting very patiently for Google to drop Google Chrome on Apple's iOS? Are there any other Browsers on iOS that you would recommend? Have any of you used the Google Drive yet?
