I know in the UK they sell iPhones without a contract now on O2, but the price is still pushing £350-400 per iPhone, it's an absolute joke! Which brings me on to my next point...
In the UK it's around £30-40 a month for an iPhone contract, and you have to buy the phone at £99 to start with (for an 8GB model), which of course are on 18 month contracts. So for example, say the contract is £35 a month, that's £630 over 18 months, and then add the £99 which is £729. If a phone is advertised at "Pay £729 for this phone over 18 months" I'm sure many people would laugh and go for a cheaper phone.
I really like the iPhone, don't get me wrong, I just think for everyone to enjoy this phone and what Open Source Applications have to offer, and even Applications from iTunes - they are great, they should bring the price down for people.
Well that's my rant over!
