T-Mobile Prepping To Support iPhone - Not In The Way You Think

A bunch of iPhones that are unlocked, regardless of whether you're working the traditional jailbreak or using the Gevey SIM, find their way onto to the T-Mobile network. Although you aren't able to achieve 3G/4G speeds on your iPhone, T-Mobile still welcomes all. Nowadays, they're extending their welcome.

T-Mobile is refarming to include the 1900 MHz bands in its network. This is the very same band that's needed for 3G/4G speeds on the iPhone lineup. Now that it's coming, unlocked iPhones can find a more proper home on T-Mobile. The carrier is working towards getting the band up and going in the fourth quarter, so essentially before the end of the year.

Although this is what T-Mobile is indirectly accomplishing, it's about time. Will you be more eager to throw down on an iPhone, now that you can unlock it and take it on T-Mobile without any kind of restrictions? I've been itching to get an iPhone 4S if and when I jump T-Mobile but maybe now, I don't have to.
