Little Masters Arrives on iOS Today

While Zynga may have released their own Pokemon clone on to the App Store last week, the effort that drops today has come to us from a developer who is a lot less known than the aforementioned mobile development monster force. The best thing about Little Masters is, it's part of that little class of games we call "freemium" which provides rewards for the game's best players.

While Zynga may not have been so open about it however, the development team behind Little Masters openly admits that this game is indeed a full on Pokemon clone. That means those of you that grew up with the Pokemon franchise should feel right at home with home the game operates. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about however, essentially you start the game off as a trainer for a series of little monsters. However, you aren't just working to make these little creatures look as cute as possible. Instead, you'll be battling foes and wild monsters to make them as strong as possible. By the end of the game, you goal is to tame all of the monsters in the game while being the best battler in the land.

So how does the freemium content work exactly? Pretty similar to any other content within the same class. The title itself is completely free by nature, but there are in-app purchasable items that serve to be completely optional. While other experiences may entice those purchases more than others, the developers insist that playing the game freely will not really harm the gameplay too much.
