In case you haven't been keeping super duper abreast on the new features of iOS 6, "Do Not Disturb" is a rather interesting addition that has made any iPhone owners quite happy. The feature itself works by disabling all incoming calls and distractions set for a specific time range throughout the day. If for example you had a professor or coworker that was not kind to you taking calls, you could use "Do Not Disturb"" to keep your phone inactive from the hours of say eight and ten AM.
However some users have reported that with the dawn of 2013 came glitches that kept the feature enabled long past its designated hours. This meant that people were not getting calls at hours when they could have, so you can imagine these incidents were causing some outrage on the Apple forums this morning. In general however, it seems like this little mishap has only really happened to a small number of folks so chances are you will be okay. No official word has come from the company yet on how long the issue may persist, but odds are we will probably have some kind of answer on that by tomorrow morning whether they respond or not. Last year, an update had to be made to resolve issues with Alarms. We'll see if this holds the same fate.
