Auxo is a Beautiful App Switcher With Limited Device Support

Back when it was first introduced, the ability to multitask in apps through a switcher was generally pretty well received. While some may have cited that the new app pane was nothing more than a glorified task manager, it was something we learned to love quite quickly, and in some senses haven't given too much thought to changing it. As with all  things familiar, sometimes we forget its even there, and are reluctant to give the interface a more functional and shiny coat of paint.

Sure jailbreak app switchers have emerged in the past, but Auxo by iDownloadBlog is unquestionably one of the nicest looking and functional I have ever seen. Instead of the tried and true icons that show down the bottom, Auxo has a a real awesome card style view that shows the current window of the app alongside that icon. In addition, there are also enhanced audio controls that will give you access to attributes like album art right from within that bottom pane. If that's not enough for you though, you'll also be able to alter your wifi, bluetooth, data, and orientation lock as well from the same area. What's the only downside to something so cool? As of right now, it only works on jailbroken iOS 6 devices. Right now the scene limits that luxury to a tethered boot on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPod Touch 4G, so that means very few devices will be able to reap these benefits at this time.
