A Quick Tutorial On How To Run the Absinthe 2.0 Jailbreak on Mountain Lion

If youve just purchased Apples latest revision of the OSX operating system series you might be having some trouble running some of the latest jailbreaking tools on your Mac.

Whether these errors are intentional or not on Apples part is really anyones guess, but thanks to a few extra steps and a little help from the terminal app, you should be able to jailbreak your iPod Touch or iPhone relatively easily on the Big As latest piece of software.

As always, you can start the process by downloading Absinthe here and double clicking the dmg to launch the installer. Once finished, just right click the mounted Absinthe application and click show package contents. Navigate on over to Contents/MacOS and right click on the Absinthe 10.6 file. Proceed to open with and select terminal.  You will be prompted to open it but just click okay and Absinthe should boot right up as soon as a few scripts are ran within the terminal app. As usual, this software will jailbreak pretty much any iOS device as long as it is on 5.1.1.
