How to Install Siri on iPhone 4

- Jailbreak your iPhone 4 / iPod touch on iOS 5.0.1.
- Open Cydia > Manage > Sources > Edit > Add the below source :
repo.siriport.ru - Go and search for Siriport and install it.
- Reboot your iPhone 4 / iPod touch 4G.
- Open Safari the open this link or this link (it will download file to your iPhone 4 / iPod touch 4G that contains the Siri Proxy details, there is nothing to do, it will configure settings itself)
- Reboot your iPhone 4 / iPod touch 4G again.
- Push and hold Home button , then say Hi Siri, if it didnt work wait few minutes then try again.

I've installed multiple Siri clients and none work as it wont talk to Apples servers or the proxy doesn't exist.

Ok, I did what it said and again it still doesn't connect to any server so it doesn't work.
1 step it didn't say is goto settings and turn on Siri as its off after you install it.

Can't find siriport In the repo. I did add repo.siriport.ru but I don't see anything

I tried this on two different iphone 4s and it worked on neither. In fact, one of them is stuck in safe mode now unless the siriport app is installed.

It does not connect to any server and my apps craah after I launch them. As the precious post said you have to enable siri in the general settings tab

As for the above comment, I had the same issue, but this hack didn't cause my apps to not open or crash, but still testing it with other profiles, let u know how it goes

i did all of this but 3 days later siri still sais it cant help me..

it works, but when siri is on, some aplicacion dont work very well, like safari, try en click on search, it will go out of safari and try write something in whatsapp, it will go out the aplication also. very strange....

After 12 hours Siri still keeps saying that I have to try it a little later... Very anoying!!!

The siri port doesnt work. I used the link on the jailbreakhow site and it doesnt work. When the siri is finally on the IPhone 4 is says sorry I cant help right now. Try later. Tried later and still nothing. I also followed the video to make sure it was followed correctly. Hopefully it can be fixed.

Then you'll have to learn how to use jailbroken one, and it works...
I've been using it for the whole day without any issues.
It's a bit slower than 4s, (about a sec per request slower), but it will get you there...

I have successfully installed the port, and everything software wise seems to be working fine. I cannot connect to the servers yet, but based on the above comments I will wait a few days and then let you all know.

Works for me in the UK, however it appears to cause temporary freezing and slowing down on various apps. perhaps this is because of the extra resources required by the Siri iriot!
