Fix Error Establishing a Database Connection After Jailbreaking With Absinthe

This is how to fix "Error establishing a database connection" after jailbreaking iPhone 4S / iPad 2 5.0.1 untethered using Absinthe Greenppois0n. This issue happens to some users when trying to open the Absinthe app to get the Cydia icon. Users get an error stating the following: "error establishing a database connection." If you get this error, worry not, there's a simple fix for it.
  1. Go to Settings, turn on VPN and wait instead.
  2. Toggle VPN only after Absinthe says its done, or it will not work.
  3. VPN should get an error and then reboot soon. If it does not, rerun Absinthe!
  4. If you get a strange problem, it is advised that you to restore your iPhone with iTunes, if you can (assuming youre not on 5.0 waiting for an eventual 4S unlock).
