Find My Car Smart - First App For iPhone 4S Using Bluetooth 4.0

A company called FMC Smart has put together a kick starter project that lets you find your car. Similar apps with the same concept already exist, however, they require you (the user) to input the car's location manually, or launch the app manually, when you park. The Find My Car Smart app by FMC Smart works based on a Bluetooth dongle that is in your car. You don't have to even launch the app unless you lose track of your car, as the dongle syncs info with the app on your phone in the background. Automatic updating only causes a minor hit to your battery life because of the use of Bluetooth 4.0, but if you drive and park a lot, you may find a bigger hit on battery life. This project is a kick starter project so a minimum funding needs to be reached before the Bluetooth dongles are shipped, but it currently shows over $15,000 contributed with only a $10,000 goal. The app itself has already been approved by Apple and available in the App Store for $0.99.
