Submitted by Dan; November 18, 2011

New York Times has just published an interview with Steve Jobs biographer Walter Isaacson, in which he has talked a bit more about Apple's plan for an integrated television set. Isaacson wrote that Steve Jobs very much wanted to do for television sets what he had done for computers, music players, and phones: make them simple and elegant. He'd like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use, he told Isaacson. Jobs stated It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud. No longer would users have to fiddle with complex remotes for DVD players and cable channels. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. He stated he finally cracked it. Isaacson stated Jobs had three things that he wanted to reinvent: the television, textbooks and photography. Isaacson continued to say Jobs really wanted to take these on. Isaacson didnt go into details about these products because it was Apples creations and its not fair to Apple to reveal these details. However, he did talk about the television. Jobs told Isaacson hed licked it and once said, Theres no reason you should have all these complicated remote controls. What do you guys think?
