Rovio's Reign Is Set To Continue

If you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch then you are almost guaranteed to have played Rovio's many installments of Angry Birds. Even if you haven't played them, almost everyone with a smartphone has heard about the game that took the mobile world by storm. Well that same developer is back once again with news of 2 upcoming games.

Rovio's game Angry Birds was so brilliant that it stayed the top downloaded app for a long time with millions upon millions of iDevice and android users playing for endless hours. If you are one of those people (I am) then you are in for a treat. Rovio is highly rumoured to be working on the same game.....but from the pigs point of view!

The game will feature all the pigs from previous other games and the infamous slingshot, and this time they will be defending the eggs they have stolen from the birds. Again, like the birds, the pigs will have their own unique 'special ability' .

This to me will be a highly anticipated game and will most certainly gain the top spot once again. With the simplicity yet challenge of the game, it will surely keep mobile gamers amused for even more countless hours. And hopefully will have updates and addons like the current series (Latest game 'Angry Birds Space' brought some new gravitational mechanics to the scene) Due out later this year, most likely christmas.

On another note! The second game announcement, again by Rovio, is of the upcoming 'Amazing Alex'. This game is somewhat like the Angry Birds Series. It features more than 100 puzzles to solve (Some requiring the tilt feature of the phone) as alex' quest continues and additional updates will add even more puzzles in the future.

The game is due to be released tomorrow (12th July). I really can't say too much about the game, so i'll let you watch the trailer for yourself and decide on whether you will be purchasing it or not:
